Lissie

Lissie - Elisabeth Maurus, is a US singer songwriter, born 21st Nov 1982, in Rock Island / Illinois. Lissie released her first album, Catching a Tiger, in 2010, aged 28, with the top track, In Sleep. Also with a number of interesting songs in her unique style of folk/rock.

Her second album, Back to Forever, was released in 2013, with a number of real interesting tracks such as, They All Want You, Mountaintop Removal, Love in the City, I Bet on You, Further Away, and, The Habit.

Live At Union Chapel, was released in 2016 with live rcordings of her top songs.

Her third album, My Wild West, was released in 2016, with the top track Hero.

Her fourth album Castles, was released in 2018, with the top track Meet Me in the Mystery.

Lissie has covered a few classics such as Stairway to Heaven by the rock group Led Zeplin, and Go Your Own Way by the rock group Fleetwood Mac, used in a number of TV programmes.

She had her fist taste of performing aged 9, when playing Annie in a school musical.

Lissie began her career in music when at Colorado State University for two years, where she would often open concerts for visiting bands. She got her first big break in 2008, when signed to tour with Lenny Kravitz, to play at the opening of his concerts.
